Private garden WI

This garden is nestled in the Umbrian hills with a 360° view of the surrounding landscape. Since the goal was to create such continuity between the garden and the landscape as to create the impression of one melting into the other, olive trees, grapevines and cypresses take precedence. Flowering borders with aromatic and herbaceous plants that come alive with fragrance and colour in the summer – when the villa is most occupied – were only planted in the most lived-in areas.
